Erich Behmen developed the stock charting software TickInvest to provide a powerful analysis and trading utility to anyone interested in tracking and trading stocks. This is an application that bundles a lot of powerful functionality under a user friendly and easy to use interface.

TickInvest is available for Windows and Linux. The installation file for both operating systems weighs in at around 30MB. Get the Windows installation file, run it, and you will be presented with a setup wizard that will guide you through the simple setup process. When you’re done and you launch TickInvest for the first time, you will be invited to provide your email address to activate a 60-day trial.

The application’s interface is divided into several panes. The main part is taken up by the Charts pane; underneath, there’s the Alert pane to the left and the Quotes pane to the right. Above these panes there’s a traditional File Menu and menus for picking the symbol, data provide, and more. Getting accustomed to this interface should not take long; you won’t go through a steep learning curve to figure things out.

As mentioned above, TickInvest is a stock charting software application that has a lot to offer. To better put things in perspective, here’s a quick look at the application’s main features: analyze your favorite stocks, customizable indicators and drawing tools, several chart types, fast backtesting, backtest groups of stocks, history database, trade simulator with historical and realtime mode, access to statistics, real-time and EOD alerts, real-time datafeeds, and more.

You have 60 days at your disposal to put TickInvest to the test and evaluate all the functionality it has to offer.

TickInvest shapes up to be a must have tool for traders.
